Bio: Ginny has been selling real estate in the Lynchburg area since 1977. She spent 17 years with a local competitor and won numerous awards both with that firm and with the local Lynchburg Board of REALTORS, including the Sales Associate of the Year Award in 1984 and many Level of Excellence of Awards including, The Platinum Level of Excellence for the highest volume of real estate sold in a year. For 17 years she was the sole local represntative of the largest relocation company in the USA, not only selling their corporate homes but also helping them relocate executives to this area. In 1995 Ginny became the marketing manager of a local real estate firm that was developing Irvington Park.
She has served on many committees and was the President of the Women's Council of Realtors. She has been very active in the state of Virginia Association of Realtors.
Ginny's Volunteer Work for the Greater Lynchburg Area includes fund raising for the Virginia School of the Arts, The American Heart
Association, The American Cancer Society, Holy Cross Regional Catholic School and she is a business partner of James River Day School. She has worked for Habitat for Humanity and the Local Soup Kitchen. She has delivered Meals on Wheels for those who can't get out and are unable to cook for themselves. She has taught the Senior Highs at First Presbyterian Church which made use of her degrees in Education.
Ginny graduated from Radford University and did her graduate work at Lynchburg College and the University of Virginia. She is married to her husband of 35 years, Archer Alexander Haskins and has three wonderful daughters, Ali, Meredith and Kaitlyn.
